Ahhh I figured something like that would ruin this plan.

Even still, could it hurt to try? The RUU will throw an error before it even attempts to write anything to my phone, right?

*edit: Nevermind. It errors just like I thought it would.

Anyone having a problem with there phone going in to sleep mode and not coming out of it whenever you hit the power button?

blubrown21, yes, I have the same problem, how about connecting at evdo speeds? Or lack there of! I have half a notion to go back to my 6700 until this thing has a few more bugs worked out.

no connecting with evdo speeds i can help you with ill pm you intructions on how to fix it but the sleep mode im still working on

i flashed alltel's OS and its less modified than sprints, and i think its a little quicker. im about to flash the entire alltel update and check out the radio and extrom. i do not have mms working on alltel OS yet

I just flashed my phone with the alltel update and it's great. MMs works great, but the only problem I have encountered so far is that I can't install any of my Resco products, including resco explorer v6.15. the phone says its not compatiable. Every thing else is fine. I don't see much of a difference in ram except an increase of 1MB and havn't noticed an increase in speed. Alltel is all good with me

Its been weeks since Alltel's offical update was supposed to be relesed. There just lolly gaggin over on there end. I'm an employee and i didnt see anything like that in the review meeting.

when you say MMS works do you mean real MMS works? like was possible on regular phones in 2003? or is it still web based?
