Too bad I was hoping to get an upgrade, mine is showing signs of mechanical problems with the keyboard.

Re: Verizon replacement VX6800

I ended spening $55.oo USD for my most recent XV6800 and a 2yr renual.
At least it was a BNIB with all of the accessories.
3 weeks ago, and now they want me to upgrade my primary line with the TP for $99.99.
I held one in the store in Tulsa, and the thing just felt like it would fall apart if I squeezed it too tight.
And where did all those direct access buttons go.
I use all but maybe 2 of them with programs assigned, even press and hold.

Yes, of the 5 HTC 6800s that I own, they all serve a fine purpose.

Re: Verizon replacement VX6800

I just received a rebuilt one last week. Actually it works pretty well without the bright spot in the lower left. However, I can't get the GPS to work, even with the Valhalla Legends GPSServer and Telus software.

Re: Verizon replacement VX6800

I'm on my third refurb, each with its own unique problem that I ultimately get it replaced for. It appears Verizon hopes the end user won't be as annoyed by the specific hardware problem as the last user. Ship it back, clean up the screen and ship it out.

Re: Verizon replacement VX6800

I've bought two used on ebay, and the first one had keyboard problems immediately, now my second one is having issues ... I'm waiting to do my vzw upgrade for when official 6.5 devices come out.
