Just download the Flashlight app
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ght=flashlight or http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ght=flashlight I perfer the 2nd one, seems to load faster Assign to a Soft Key Using Reg Edit 23-Changing SoftKeys Create the following keys and Strings in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3 112 is the left key and 113 is the right. Set Default to what you want the key to read (ie. SMS) Now for each key create a new string named Open and set the target path. Or Use AE Button Plus to assign to another hardware key http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus.php Or you can assign it in Buttons under start->settings->personal

I'm curious about the claim that this will damage the flash LED (I have noticed the camera app will increase the brightness of the LED just before it takes a picture and then reduce the brightness afterwards).

That is the most pimp shit ever, thank you so much darkness...
And as for damaging the led? i have leds that run 24hrs a day 7 days a week that have lasted years, i mean it s a led not a light bulb.. |

Yeah it's a great little program, he included 2 programs in one, one is a regular stay on light and the other is a 30 second light that goes out automatically.
I have the 30 second mapped to my button, so if it is hit accidently it will just go out in 30 seconds. To save your battery or in case there may or may not be a problem keeping it on for too long. Props to Nilisco |

usually the way an led is wired it only receives X amount of power, so i doubt s its being overpowered, but its possible... wtf do i know, lol...

If you've got the insurance, and you remember to remove the program before you take it in to get it fixed for FREE, who cares? Hmmm, maybe that's a bad attitude .... but I'm installing the program.
