I can go either way on the samsung and x chip. The samsung could be rom. I didn't bother looking it up because its obviously memory of some kind. I have a feeling the X chip is the flash ROM, but could not find anything solid in my searching. judging by their positioning they're both on the memory bus and I'm inclined to bellive they're both memory chips of some kind. Instinct tells me the samsung would be the ram and the X chip the rom but I wouldn't be surprised if it was reversed.

Thanks for these excellent pics. If someone can do the same with a Kaiser maybe we can figure out a way to hardware mod Mogul for tilt screen action

You are correct. He posted the pics and Shadomite said there was not an internal GPS based on the pics.

I finally found a good link. The RFR6500 and RFT6150 are gpsOne chips, which is AGPS, not standalone GPS. Sorry

There's a RAM expansion experiment gaining steam here. Has anyone here done any research in that field since September?

Great pictures Bearxor.
Hopefully these images will better explain exactly what the possibilities for a RAM upgrade would be, compatability, who would be willing to do it, and of course... how much.
