Re: Please help! Activesync stuck on looking for changes
I think the following:
COM+ Event System DCOM Server Process Launcher DHCP Client Universal Plug and Play Device Host Also, there is a full guide here: http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/t-shootactivesync.htm it may be out dated but may be of some use...also active sync has its own log files as well

Re: Please help! Activesync stuck on looking for changes
I guess your only options left are:
Hard Reset Bluetooth Making a Virtual PC of XP and syncing through there |

Re: Please help! Activesync stuck on looking for changes
I think you're right. I've tried Blutooth once before and couldn't get it to work at all. I have no idea how to make a virtual PC of XP. Guess my only option is to do the hard reset. That I do know how to do. I just hate to have to reinstall and set everything back up.
Thanks for all your efforts!!! I really appreciate it. |

Re: Please help! Activesync stuck on looking for changes
Just when I'm about to give up... I unplugged the phone from the USB cable; and although it never said it was synchronizing and ended up with an error, the contacts have been put back onto the phone. I've added the calendar to the categories and seeing if it does the same.

Maybe it is just being EXTREMELY slow?
Well as Microsoft would say "Its not a bug, its an undocumented feature" |

Re: Please help! Activesync stuck on looking for changes
I finally broke down and did the hard reset. That did the trick. It took me way less time to reinstall all my programs into it than I spent trying to find a way around it.
