Need a new ROM to fix wifi problem

I am now on my 2nd 6800, about to get a third if I can't find a fix. I believe there is an issue with the Verizon rom, so when you start the wifi hardware switch, it crashes device.exe.

I'm hardpressed to believe that I had to refurb units that had the same problem in a row. So I need a new ROM that is very simple and basic. I don't need any "flash," just basic fast functionality.

Can anyone suggest anything?
(I haven't been on here in a while, and I saw a whole lot of new roms created, so I'm a at a loss)

i had the same problem. thought it was the rom i was running since i started using 6.5, broke my phone. recieved new phone no longer have issues with wifi. dont know how old ur phone is and how u treat it. btonetbone 23017 is my rom of choice
