Is the extended battery cover sturdier/thicker than the original cover? How does the phone feel in your hand with the larger battery? Do you notice much of a difference while holding it?

Hrm... I'm interested now in getting the extended battery. Looks like with that the phone will feel much better in my hand while i'm talking on the phone. Not to mention the added battery life also that i'd get out of it.

Keep reading, and I will post some more on the most expensive battery ever (kiddin, but seriously it is jacked). I also got the docking station, if anyone is interested. Nothing special, but the case fits both batteries. There doesn't appear to be audio out capability, the connector looks like a generic mini-USB, but I will test out that as well, cause on the back the connectors look like the special ones...
Davrodg-

Just to clarify - did you purchase the Sprint Extended battery, or some other? You mentioned the base docking station, but I don't see that listed with the Sprint battery.

I bought the sprint Extended battery, the 2100 mHa one. It is sturdy, not like my 6700 extended battey. I hated the expansion battery on the 6700, but this one is much nicer, and the locking mechanism on the cover helps resolve the issues I had with the 6700. It is a good feeling cover, sturdy, and reliable. I get 2-3 days per charge so far, and my old battery was about a day and some with minimal calls. I use exchange, along with other internet apps that poll, so some may get longer life. I don't talk much, so that helps me out, but I don't know what the battery does for a heavy user of voice.

Extended Battery

I have the extended battery, the one from HTC, and I just received the case from Seidio for the normal case, so I can no longer use it. If anyone is interested, it was only used for two charge cycles, no wear and tear, 50 plus shipping. PM me if interested.I liked the way it looked, and especially how it felt in my hand, more sturdy, and much better than the 6700 ext batt.
