On your phone, just edit your email setting again and when you see the word "Advanced Settings", click on it and it directs you to "advanced settings" screen, right at "When deleting messages"", choose "keep them on server". Hoping that this shall work for you.

Emails deleting themselves!
What provider are you using? I know with gmail, you have to type: recent:username@gmail.com as the username to keep your messages.
if you leave out the recent: part, they get removed off the mogul. |

This was happening to me as well. I had to go into manage folders on my phone and check of the folders where I had saved the emails. Once I had checked off those folders my emails where nolonger deleted unless I selected deleted. It was pretty frustrating for a while. I thought I was losing all my important emails. They actually dont delete from the website just your phone. My account is with yahoo, and when I went online from my desktop my emails were still there. I hope this was helpfull.

dont know if this helps but it sounds like you are having the gmail problem ... any time a client downloads a whole message gmail marks it as downloaded and archives it ... then the next time you check your mail the client doesnt see anything ... probably a scheme to keep bandwidth low and you cant blame them
![]() hope this helps .. |

theres one thing i forgot to mention that might be causing problems also ...
go into your client settings at gmail.com .... under "Forwarding and POP" towards the bottom, make sure that "2. When messages are accessed with POP" is set to ... "keep Gmail's copy in the inbox" ... and not "Archive Gmail's copy" or "Delete Gmail's copy" |
