[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader]
"X-Alltel-MDN"="<you 11 digit cell number here>"
"Accept-Language"="en"
"Profile"="http://www.htcmms.com.tw/gen/Titan-1.0.xml"

I think the hmac-md5-key code is our answer. I think that this is supposed to be sent to alltel to verify we are using their MMS software that came stock on the 6800, since it is unique for Alltel. So therefor my final answer to this problem is we need to get the software exported off of the 6800, and installed on a 6700. Therefor everything that need's to be sent to Alltel, will be sent.

Also on mine, it was X-VzW-MDN....on the 6800, it's X-Alltel-MDN.... I don't think the Verizon software is sending this anymore if we change X-VzW-MDN to X-Alltel-MDN. We just really need to get that software exported.... Who can do that?

What if we ran our own MMS server. Would that still allow us to connect to users not using our MMS information? I've been looking at mbuni.org. The Alltel tech I spoke to today said I could probably just run my own MMS server.

It's a good idea, but I would imagine it would only send stuff to people on the same server. Cause a server has to have the support to be able to send to other servers. Like how it took a while for Alltel to let us send pics to Verizon. The server didn't support it. They had to integrate it into the server. You'd have to find a server that said it supported Alltel inorder for it to be worth it. And then it would be just what that server supported. I haven't really researched it much, so I don't know of any good server's to pic from.

I actually don't have a "X-Alltel-MDN" entry in the registry under that Key...

There IS however a:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\test]
"WAP1DefaultSize"=dword:0004b000
"WAP2DefaultSize"=dword:0004b000
"SendDefault"=dword:0004b000
"RecvDefault"=dword:000fa000
"Gateway"="mms.alltel.com"
"MmscURI"="http://mms.alltel.com/servlets/mms"
"Name"="Alltel MMSC"
"GatewayPort"=dword:00001f90
"ConnectionVia"="{436EF144-B4FB-4863-A041-8F905A62C572}"
"WAPType"=dword:00000001

Edit: I guess I should put as a disclaimer; I have yet to actually have someone send me a picture message, or send one to a person...

Just saw this on HowardForums... looks like Alltel is having an issue with the picture messaging. Possibly a reason why your testing may not be working...

Could be why, but they are not having any problem's sending to a non-6800 phone. I wish I could send to a non-6800/6700 phone period. And I get a different message when trying to receive a message.
