Alternate Ring-Vibrate toggle cab file post
http://ppcgeeks.com/ring-toggle-hard...tan-t8079.html
This links to a ring-vibrate toggle Cab that was posted on another HTC forum at XDA. The file takes up little to no space and doesn't require the loading of a visible interface and as such is rapid on and rapid off. I use the Comm Manager button as my Virbrate/Ring toggle now. Works great. To get to the Comm Manager, either waste a slot on a Today screen launcher or just click the connection icon in the top toolbar and select Comm Manager from the pop-up. |

it seems to me there are two "vibrate" mode with mogul. One is the equivalent of clicking on the speaker icon and selecting "vibrate". But it seems that doing this will alsoautomatically mute your system volume, thus no sound or music from any applications. Manually increase the system volume and it will exit out of vibrate mode. this is good for some purposes, like when you are going to a meeting and want to go on vibrate and cut off all system sound.
However, if you want to use vibrate as a everyday ringer and still have system sound, the only way I have found to do this is go to sounds and notifications under settings and change ring to vibrate. So which method does the .cab in the above post invoke. Does it shut off system sound when you go to vibrate? |
