Do you have HTC X button/task manager or some other "app closer" utility running? Because otherwise, tapping the X in the upper right corner should not cause your music to stop.
So assuming you have one of those programs, what you need to do is set Windows Media Player (or whatever application you're using to play music) as excluded (meaning that instead of closing it, tapping the X will just minimize it instead, leaving it running (playing) in the background. If you want to reply back with what program you're using to close apps then we can give you specific instructions. |

an easy way to do this and still be able to manage the apps running is just to get x-button, use whatever media player you would like tcpmp, wmp, or audio manager, play whatever file you would like, then hit start and today, it will bring up your today screen, and not pause your music, ive tested all of the above just now... then you can use whatever apps you want, and at your today screen x-button will provide you will a drag down button to close or select whatever programs you would like... the x button next to the program name closes the app, and by clicking on the app name you can bring them up... hope this helps...
