I made a dude with an iPhone look stupid at a wedding this weekend when he was showing it off and I turned on my Slingbox on my 6800 and asked if he could watch the Niners game on his phone. He just said "no". Then I passed my phone around so the others could see. LOL.

Sweet, now that's what I'm talking about!

Can't wait till I get back home and get my 6800. Right now I hav ebeen using my 6700 as a watch/everything else onboard the ship (USN in GULF) and its been acting up like crazy. Light comes on for no reason / resets on its own when finish playing games / all kinds of craziness. I think the Heat out here has totally gotten to it.......... I hope insurance is worth it. Even if not, still gonna get my 6800!!!

Poor dumb Iphoners. lol I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet. Www.logmein.com Go there. Be amazed. You can remote control any PC. Grabfiles off of them and their new service lets you provide remote assistance to windows mobile users. The remote control part is free.

I also tune my guitar With my Phone.

Boy you sure are mean, J\K Thats hilarious.

I really dont understand why Sprint doesnt put it up against the Iphone in a commercial. There are so many ways to crush the Iphone it ridiculous.

Sprints marketing is just pathetic, they need to fire those idiots and bring in some agressive people with agressive Ideas, just think how many great ideas are right in this thread.

So do the math on this...

PPC-6700's STILL sell for about $300++ new on ebay, and it's a model that is > 2 years old. That is your uninsured replacement cost for a "new" 6700. So if you only had to replace it ONCE, very very late in the ownership life of the item, then you might come out ahead $14 or something silly. More than once, and you're cursing every design flaw the phone has, fighting with sprint reps, etc... all because you didn't want to burn $7 extra when they are giving you what is undoubtedly the best rate plan in the industry (assuming you have SERO).

You don't want to feel like a fool when your mogul gets dropped and breaks a few months from now and you have to shell out hundreds to get a new (or likely, refurb) one. I'm pretty sure you can't get your discounted rebated price again once you're a customer -- you'll have to pay FULL PRICE for a replacement or refurb, right?

I'd get insurance while the replacement cost was high - and as you can see with these phones, that can be for awhile. This isn't a POS do-nothing RAZR

It's $7. Think of it like this... you buy Sprint lunch, they give you phone protection on your $500 phone for the month.
Hahah... Yeah. I ended up getting the protection plan. I'm still paying 3 bucks less than my Verizon calling plan alone. So my savings is still pretty substantial.

I was careful when I had my 6700 with Verizon and never had to replace it for any reason and I had a protection plan with them as well. Because I never made a claim when I had my 6700, it pretty much was my only reason why I was trying to decide whether to get the insurance or not...

I have insurance now... and I've got piece of mind.

My Mogul just saved me $35 last night. I needed to get something at Petsmart which was $50 in store and only $15 on their website. I didn't feel like digging up the printer and hooking it up, so I just pulled up their website at the store and showed it to the manager. So I got the pricematch without having to print anything out.
