The way I understand how wm devices work is that if you are connected to your pc through usb it disables the evdo. That is unless you are using internet sharing, then you can connect to use the phone as a modem.

Do you have firewall installed on your PC? If so, then you need to open up a few ports and processes from activesync to go through...

It was working this morning. The only thing that was changed on my computer or the phone was the removal of certain programs, if not only games. Is there just a way to reset the internet sharing connection?

This is a feature. To turn it off go into ActiveSync, select File / Connection Settigns, then check "Allow wireless connection on device when connected to desktop."

When you connect the phone for the first time to activesync it will ask you if you want to allow data connection while the phone is connected to your computer. If you didnt allowed at that time, you will have to go to activesync on your phone and delete the relationship with your computer from the list and restart the setup...
start>programs>activesync>menu>options>delete

Its been working for the past month. Ive used it many times to test out my online ftp through my phone but again, it just stopped working after removing some games. I don't know why that would affect it but thats the only thing that comes to mind that I changed on my phone or the computer. I've had internet sharing on the whole time, tried removing it on my PC and phone, restarted both, then reactivated them, but still shows a problem.

I don't know if this is related to the OP's issue however I noticed the other day when I was connected to my work PC via USB, I tried to browse a site on the Mogul and the browser came back with a "site blocked" page. Our network and firewall has a site blocker which pops up when you browse specific sites. So I'm thinking the Mogul was using my work's network to access the internet and not Sprint or EVDO. I disconnected the USB between the Mogul and work PC, relaunched the Mogul browser and was able to pull up the site that got blocked earlier.
