I am having the same problem. I lost mine this weekend and have spent like the past 6 hours searching for a replacement all to no avail. This is stupid. Apparently the only solution is for me to file an insurance claim and pay the $50 deductible. I don't want the extended battery and the extra heft that entails.

Yeah, I called ustarcom and went to HTC.com / america.htc.com and NOTHING. I called HTC and it went straight to whomevers voicemail (still waiting for a response) back from them. If HTC doesn't sell them, I must say that this is prettttttttty gay, how can you sell everything BUT the flimsy a$$ battery door cover?!?!? .. arrrrrrrrr

With the 6700 the extended battery does add some weight and bulk... ...but heck...it's a brick even with standard battery so no big diff for me. Looks like the 6800 is thinner, smaller and 'rounder' so I can understand wanting to stick to the original slim battery. -Surfer

I know you would have to get another battery but maybe you can call this place and see if you can get just the cover.
