Using US Cellular HTC 6800 on Sprint, Please help!

My wife has a HTC 6800 from US Cellular that I want to get working on Sprint. She was talking to someone that said they would update it for $80. I'd like to try to do it myself.

I've read another thread here (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...r+sprint+flash) that says it can be done. However, I think I'm going to need a little bit more hand holding.

I've downloaded a couple different ROM's and a couple different RUU's. None of them seem to work. The first one I tried got to 12% and then give me an error. I downloaded dcd_titan_kitchen_3.0.4 and it sits at 0% for about a minute and then gives me an error. Both errors are regarding a loss of communication.

Can someone tell me wehre I can get the software and ROM that I need to get this done? Are there any special instructions that I should be aware of?

You need to unlock using 2.47 or 2.4 first. Then flash the sprint rom.

you need to make sure you can activate that phone on sprint first, and changing esn is illegal so I would not pay for that kind of service either.

drewcam888: I've tried what you suggested (I think) and it didn't work. I downloaded nueSPLTitan-100-2.47-pack.zip, copied the program to the Mogul and ran it. I took me to the screen with the colored bars. I then ran the ROm update that I downloaded from here: http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownloa...cat=2&dl_id=73. I got error 294: Invalid Vendor ID.

Like I said, I'm gonna need some handholding.
