How to erase old info on mogul

Ok i want to give my friend my old phone but i want to make sure any old information cant be retrived. Is this possible, and if so how can i do it.

^^^^ And if you don't know how to do that then it's: Press and hold the 2 softkey buttons (above the call/end call buttons) and with your stylus press in the reset button on the bottom of the phone. Hold, Message will Pop up about reset, select yes. Voila

does thwe memorey clean up program do the trick as well because that what i ended up doing
