Mogul by HTC 6800 from sprint No drivers Vista

Hi,
I am new here and new to the PDA and I have a problem and would like to ask for some help.
I bought a Mogul by HTC 6800 from sprint with the intent of using it as a phone and most of all modem for my Dell laptop with vista. I came to find out that there are no modem drivers yet, tech support told me it would be 3 months before there is a driver. Is there any way I can use it as a modem, I really like the phone and wont Rev 1.

Thank you
Mars99123

I just used it as a modem for the first time. It worked with XP and Vista.

First open the program called internet sharing. In the two drop down menus select USB connection and Sprint Vision. Then click "connect".

After you do this on your phone plug in the USB cable to your PC. wait a minute for the drivers to load (standard built in drivers), then open your browser.

it worked for me. a lot easier than my 6700 with XP.

Be warned, the jury is still out on whether we get charged for modem use.

Do you actually want to use it as a modem or as an internet connection? If you just want to use it as you internet connection, try the internet sharing prog. It is easy to set up and works pretty well.
