why is wifi so bad?

Why I am getting such low wifi speed on the mogul?

Using Orb speed test, i am getting speed around 700-800 kbs, and that is standing next to the router. That is about what I get with EVDO!

btw, i have comcast cable modem for high speed.

Also, on an old Dell Axim x5 with a CF Dlink 11b (not even G) wireless card, I can get 1500 kbs on the same test.

And yes, I have turned the power adjustment on the wifi all the way to performance on the mogul.

Is it that bad or are my settings bad?

I get about 1200-1300 via wi-fi on mine as well. I have 5mb down on my FIOS, so Mogul doesn't/can't utilize all of it.
