The way I see it, the default wall charger has an output of 5V @ 1A...
and a standard USB port can provide 5V @ 0.5A... It should still charge, albeit much slower than the wall charger. Note what % you are at, plug it into the pc at night, then check what % you have when you plug it out in the morning. Maybe the Tethered connection is using as much juice as the usb can pump out... try turning off the backlight while connected, might save enough juice to let it charge... - Truetek |

USB Charging
Using USB to charge the device works with my Mogul. I think that you have to install active sync because then the ppc drivers install. (for xp) For Vista, the drivers are already built in, my drivers in Vista took 1 minutes to install with no cd and then i was up and charging.

I'm going to post the obvious, not because I'm assuming anyone is stupid, but because I'd probably miss this one myself:
Check with another USB cable. I've ruined a few by running them over with my office chair. |

is the orange LED lighting up at all with the USB cable vs the wall charger?
PC USB port charge very slowly especially the last 20% and take forever for the last 10% something to do with PC USB being a trickle charging and the wall charger is something else |

well i have only seemed to have this problem as of the last few days....it says that it is charging while its tethered but as stated above perhaps the tethering is drawing more power usage than what can be charged at any given time.
anyways i will keep an eye on it and may even try my 6700 cable for good measure. thanks for the ideas. H |
