Can anyone recommend a decent cut and paste solution? I'm shocked that MS didn't include one...

try ctrl C and V
working even in places that COPY and PASTE don't.

open the soft keyboard and its in its normal spot...

Why not just tap and hold with the stylus or your finger? works for me....

There are some instances where the tap and hold are disabled. Some developers have disabled the function when it comes to serial numbers for registrations, etc.
