Mogul as hands-free please help!!

Salutations, I have been searching this site for hours now, and can't find what I am looking for. I am deployed to Iraq right now and yesterday I became a skype user. What I am looking for is a way to use my Titan via bluetooth as my hands-free headset. I am pretty sure I have done it before, but for some reason I can't seem to find out what I am doing wrong. I have a bluetooth dongle (D_Link DBT-120) and after pairing the phone with the computer when I highlight the computer under the bluetooth setup screen the hands-free option is greyed out. Does anyone know how I can pair the two and use the Mogul instead of a giant headset with a microphone? Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Mogul as hands-free please help!!

The problem with what you're suggesting is that "Hands-free" for the Titan Phone is an actual call that the phone thinks it's sending/receiving via Bluetooth. Need more info on the headset you're talking about; I believe this is a headset you have attached to your computer? In any case, I don't believe you can do what you think your phone is capable of acting as a headset to your Skype via your Bluetooth Dongle.

That is if I understood correctly what you wanted, which is this:

Internet --> Skype/PC > Dongle/Bluetooth --> Titan Phone --> Bluetooth Headset

Assumption, you can't get (CDMA) service in Iraq thus the Skype via the internet. If so, then you should have just gotten a wireless headset via a Bluetooth USB device for your PC/Laptop instead of using your phone.

If I am wrong, please give us a bit more clarity on what you're trying to do.

Yeah, I think your right, no CDMA service here, if I had at&t it would work but sprint is not GSM. I guess I am wrong about the whole using the Titan as a bluetooth handset but I coulda swore I accidentally paired the two before. I was just gonna try it instead of shelling out the cash on a bluetooth headset. I just thought it would be cool to be able to use my cellphone in some capacity over here. I miss carrying it around and "geekin' out." Oh well, thanks for the reply moblues. My buddy has a neat motorola bluetooth h12 that I am gonna try to pair up to use so I have a little freedom of movement while talking with the Skype. Thanks for your input.
