Another Phone Problem

Ok, I'm getting really really agitated at my new phone that was supposed to replace my 700p. I set this phone so that on 3 rings it will automatically send the call to the headset; this is the same feature that my 700p has. Except that on this 6800 the phone will answer the call on the third ring even if my headset is off and in my pocket? Am I the only person having this problem?
