HTC Plugin - Changing Icons

I am using the HTC plugin on my 6800 but want to use icons that I was using with iLauncher. They were .tga files I believe. When I pick the programs tab from HTC plugin and link it to display links to Explore, Word, Excel, and others it uses the stock icons. Is there anyway to replace those with again diff. icon like ones you can use with iLauncher. If I need to convert them, what do I convert them to?
