Sprint Mogul 8600 headset stopped working - HELP!!

My headset stopped working; when I answer/make a call, I cannot hear a thing. Any suggestions as to how this can be fixed?

Are you talking about the speaker/mic on the phone or are you talking about headphone/mic unit?

I am referring to the speaker and microphone on the phone.
