By similar to Hermes what colonel probably meant is to be aware of the intricacies and potential bricks that can happen with devices using the NBH file format for roms. For example things like SPL changes for flashing custom roms. Not the same in structure, but many concepts can transfer.

yea i knew what he meant. im just saying in the rom tools department the titan is more like the kaiser because i tried the hermes dump tools but it didnt work you need the modified kaiser dump tool.

The Hermes is similar to the Titan and way too many users bricked their phones including Helmi.
No it's not similar to the hermes but nice try.

Be careful how you say that Matt. That post makes you sound very arrogant like you posting on XDA was the hard part and belittling the work that Midget_1990 did. Saying "but all that was done was the bat file was edited that jj made to be able to dump the kaiser" makes it look like you're posting to ask for help on XDA was the hard part. Do you even understand what he did to edit the program to make the dump?

Please do not be offended by this as I just want to give you a warning of how your post looks. I have made some posts in the past that unintentionally almost cost the help from a very helpful person from the xda site. All i needed was a little nudge to show me what it looked like from a different perspective for me to fix it and i hope that this does that for you.
The point of that was?

And who are you again? I don't care what kind of legend-in-your-own mind you are, but don't come in and make that crap your first post here.

Funny, guy with 1 post taking on Colonel! LOVE the response luv2chill! Between you and the colonel (with of course helmi_c and several others around here) none of this ROM kitchen stuff would be going on. I think it would be wise for others to listen when you guys have some helpful comments to make.

I know who Custel is and he has done a bit of work with the Hermes. However, that does not excuse the random comments that he made. How about actually explaining your point? Anyway, I was actually done with this thread but had to come back once more.

No need to be an ass, and ImCoKeMaN already said anything I could have more elegantly. You contributed nothing more to the process than posting something. Whether you believe this or not, it would have been dumped (and apparently already was) with or without you.

Thanks for playing though, and I appreciate both your amazing writing abilities and your gentle and loving attitude!

In other news, I will hopefully have a working flashlight demo application ready sometime today. I messaged vijay on the xda forums with what I think might be what he needs for mogul support, but I could be wrong. I'm also going to mess around with a bit of code he posted to see if I can get something working as well.
