Bad experience with Seido case

I bought a Seido protective cover for my mogul and holster about 6 months ago. The other day the small coiled spring that keeps the holster clip on your belt broke. Now the holster clip is unable to remain closed and I can't use it. I emailed Seido customer service to see if I could get a replacement spring. They told me to buy another holster that they couldn't do anything for me!

I don't want to buy a holster every 6 months because of a 2 cent part. What can I do? Anyone have a similar issue with their holster from Seido?

I've had mine for 1 1/2 years and have had no problems. Here's their warranty info:
