Trouble setting up Gmail After Rom Update

Hi,

I finally (finally!) got around to updating the ROM on my HTC 6800 (Mogul through Sprint).

Prior to my update, my Gmail was set up through IMAP. Now, it won't let me set up my mail through IMAP - it's simply not on the drop-down menu.

The problem is that I don't use an email client such as Outlook on my computer, and I don't use any kind of client on my phone.

Plus, when I check messages, it takes FOREVER and a DAY for the mail to update. Instead of a simple send & receive, it does this whole "Looking for changes" deal (which may just be a change with the rom, I don't know).

My Sent items are visible in my Inbox which is extremely annoying. There's a sent folder set up and all, they just don't go there.

In short, how can I set up Gmail through IMAP?
