the dpad sucks for anything and is hardly accurate. the keyboard is better than the 6700 though

The D-pad is a piece of junk. It's flimsy and really cheap. I'm surprised they didn't make it more solid.

im sure i can hardwire a 6700 joy stick on a mogul but i dunno if its worth it
+ it wouldent really look factory...who knows well have to wait and see...damn im gonna miss playing my NES games with the crappy d-pad tho

The d-pad isn't the best but I hated the joystick on the 6700. Anything else to me is an improvement over that.

I can't understand why everyone is so down on the d pad. I feel mine is very accurate and is fairly solid. My 6700 on the other hand was broken on all three that i had and was my biggest complaint with the phone.

I never had a 6700 so I can't compare the two, but the dpad on my Mogul feels really cheap and loose. My wife has a Mogul and hers feels a bit more solid than mine. It's probably a quality control issue and some just aren't made as solid as others.

According to a friend who's a Sprint service rep, that joystick was the single most-broken part on the 6700. I think that would explain why they changed it.
