although I don't have a Mogul, my 6700 joystick is a POS. I bought it Sep '06 and the joystick is already finicky when I use it. I, for one, am happy to trade up to a d-pad (whenever VZW decides to release th 6800
 ).

For me the joystick was a thumb sore, my D pad on my Mogul is solid, I like it much better. I broke the joystick on two of my 6700 and it was always getting presses or catching in the cases I used.

I've had my ppc 6700 since 3/06 and the joystick is probably the first thing that breaks when dropped. I just ordered my Mogul today so I was excited to find that the joystick was replaced. If they have replaced it with a cheap flimsy piece of plastic it is concerning. So far I've heard mixed reviews about this phone. Hopefully the good outweighs the bad and it's an alternative to the hyped iPhone.
P.S. I got a Motorola Q to replace my ppc6700...that lasted a month. I've had the Treo 600 650 and 700p. They have nothing on my ppc6700. I'm definitely a fan. I wish they would have upgraded the speaker phone capablities. As I am reading, it appears this is still just as bad as the current 6700.
