event sounds from ppc kitchen

hello, everyone I am new to ppc geeks and have just learned to unlock and cook my own rom..... and i have been very pleased and found everything on here to be a great help.... i have a question ..... i want to change the sounds for text message and mms and so on on my xv6800 and on the rom i made it had a program called event sounds ... so i used it on my rom and was going to use it but it says it may cause damage to my device so i didnt run it yet... i was wondering if anyone had used this or is there another wat to do this ... i would like to use my ringtones i made for my phone for this..... can anyone help? thank you!
