i got it to work for me...just named the new gif...SPCS_startup2.gif and edited the registry..cool...

STILL TRYIN DID NOT WORK WHEN I CHANGED GIF NAME ON GIFFile VALUE DATA ITS NAMED Windows|SPCS_scarface.gif STILL A NO GO..

I cant help it ima go bonkers!!! lol

I need a different file explorer to take off the restriction from the original sprint picture correct?

I tried to add GIG for you SuPreme1.. reply was this The Extension gif is not allowed.

I tried and tried and tried and still cant make it work... and now i dont even see the sprint gif.. and i also changed the wav but doesnt work. any help on that?

Please give feedback.. thanks

I can see why u having trouble with the image.. its not 240x320 it was 247x333.. resized image save the one below.. also I just restored my fone so I dont have anything on it yet..give it a try with this resized one

K before I tried the info you sent .. I Tried it with the scarface gif i have as my avatar and it WORKED .. WOW after 1 day tryin dont know what i was doin wrong.. (late bloomer) ..

Patience pays off.. testin out the wav for openin reset, Thank you all for the help.. Is there a way to change operator name & start name on screen? The Scarface scene is comin out nice.. I will share when forum allows me to upload..

Glad I could help.. sometimes at various times of the day I get busy and cant work on images or wat not.. but I try to help when I can.. now regarding the sprint image with the red numbers I have not really looked into too see how to get rid of them

I tried lookin in windows directory on PPC for all images couldnt find it though and the windows one also.. i shall continue the prowl for them..

and the power up on the phone is pimp.. just got to continue tryin to do the wav power to make it scarface's voice "say hello to my little friend.."
