I have noticed programs installing faster, also moving around the settings menus is much more snappy. I think it is worth the upgrade.

Sweet! They already have a new ROM and I just got the phone??? Oh well, I guess that's a good thing. I'm going to install it later and I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes and if I notice any differences with the new ROM.

Just installed the ROM update, so far so good. Definitely looks like the on screen dialing for the phone is much faster. I'll keep you guys posted if I find anything else that is improved.

Has anyone had any looping soft resets yet?

I did when I did a hard reset of my phone before the rom update. After I installed the new rom, that issue appears to be gone. I did a hard reset several times after I installed the new rom to see if I could get it to loops soft resets but it didn't do it.

I also noticed a significant increase in my earpiece volume since the new rom update. It also may have increased the speaker volume but I can't tell for sure yet.

I love the fact that HTC is committed to providing the updates, and simultaneously helping the homebrew custom ROM community.

Thanks HTC!

Now if this is true that would be great.... can anyone else confirm?
I installed the ROM update using Vista and VistaMobileDeviceCenter and had no problems. Yes, the problem with the alarm is fixed. I confirmed this with 3 tests. I also noticed that the bluetooth and volume problems appear to be fixed. And, for what it's worth, the Music Store site works.

Whew...my first contirbution to the forum. I hope I did O.K.

Just to let y'all know: when you use the music store, the phone will stop playing music when the backlight turns all the way off.

Just discovered that when playing a couple songs that i had downloaded on my old M610 (kept the same micro sd, which had the songs on it).
