I installed a GaMedics ROM onto my wife's phone yesterday and things didn't run they way she wanted them to. So I replaced that rom with sprint's 2.17 rom instead. That went perfectly but when the phone reboots I noticed that kitchen splash screen still appears. Also when her phone goes into power save mod , we can't get her screen to come back on unless we soft reset it. Where did I go wrong?

I would recomend and upgrade to the latest Titan ROM of 3.56

You may have just over written the OS. That may be why the splash screens are still the same.

As for it not coming back on when pressing the power button. That is usually caused by installing something on the storage card that need to be installed on the phone.

Any application that resides on the today screen or is needed when the phone first wakes up or is running in the background needs to be installed to the device.

And for the record I actually recommend DCD ROM's instead of stock. They are generic and plain, without all the fancy stuff that causes issues.

could you explain this more please? I am going to use the DCD cab that Darkness sugested and I don't want to have to keep resetting her phone just so she can see her screen thanks.

What do you need a better explanation on? Please elaborate.
DCD's newest ROM is 4.12. If you do use that, you will need to install a carrier cab to get the internet working.

Sorry, I was talking about the SD part. I wanted to know if I screwed her phone up by keeping it in. The other poster reply was no. I think I read some where you needed to have a Micro SD card to do any customizing to our phones. I can't find that anywhere, so I just assumed it could be done either way. Thanks for your help.
