microphone no worky

been searchin a bit, cant find answer to my problem. not sure if my son messed with my phone cause i found it in a different spot and the stylus was out and busted. anyways seems that since then when i try to make calls no one can hear me, went ahead and tried to record a note using the mic and it come out with nothing but wacky static, and when i call people thats all they hear. anything i can do to fix this or should i just pay the 50$ for the insurance replacement?

Before paying the $50 dollars for a replacement i will sujest a hard reset, sounds like a hardware problem though, but hard resetting fixes most of the problems, if after the hard reset you still have this problem then replacement might be required...

hard reset was the first thing i tried, still no worky, verizon still handing out refurbs or are touch pros on the horizon?

You don't have TEP? Sprint can hardly tell if something is wrong with the phone and probably won't be able to tell if you did something to it. Maybe try the phones warranty through HTC?

Are you with Sprint or Verizon?

im on verizon, got the TEC insurance...
