Re: HTC home plugin (weather for other cities?)
Quote:
![]() 1. Visit AccuWeather.com - World Weather 2. Find your city and bring up its weather forecast in your browser. 3. Look at the URL and copy the location code from the end of the URL (will look something like locCode=OCN|AU|TAS|HOBART) It should consist of 4 sections eg: OCN|AU|TAS|HOBART (Region|Country|State|City) 4. Go to the windows directory on your PPC 5. Copy the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml to your desktop 6. Open in Notepad and insert an XML tag in to the list. For St Louis, MO it would look like this: Code: Code:
<city name="St. Louis, US" locationcode="NAM|US|MO|SAINT LOUIS"/> 8. Replace the file in your windows directory ps.. if that code doesnt work try saint-louis at the end... and st. louis |

Ok, on step 5 where on the desktop are you supposed to copy the file? I'm a little confused with this. I got the weather code in my "notes" and put in my information, but not sure where to go from here. I can't seem to "rename/move" to "Windows" folder. Is there any way to "Dumb" down those last few steps? Thanks (my head is about to explode from all this!)

WoW...isn't there a specific HTC Accuweather site for the locations? I thought I remembered reading that on this forum or on pdaphonehome...
EDIT: found the thread: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-ho...ons-t6304.html
