Re: Free Tethering? I think so.

Ok now it kicks me off after about a minute. I immediately do a speed test at speedtest.net and i get to about 93% and it kicks off. I tried both Sprint and PAM to connect. Sprint was giving me over 2400kbps

Re: Free Tethering? I think so.

What ah HoOT...I've been making love to my M oGu L every single day since I first met her about two weeks ago. We got into a bit of scuffle late last nite, as she didn't want to teether for me. Little, did I know then, that all I needed to do was read through this entire POST and low and behold, arrrr she blows....

I'm estatic, I remember first teether about 3 yrs ago on my A900. Damn time warner and it's high bills forced me too. It was a blast! No online gaming but who cares...it's free.

Thanks everyone for the info!!!!

I wonder if this will work with the Telus HTC P4000 on their network.

Yeah, I just found that using PDANet works just as well.

You'll need to use a registry editing tool like Total Commander or RegEdit. Do a quick search of the forums and you'll find links to download them.

Well, the key that PDANet gives you in an email is specific to both your Phone's ESN and email, so if you lose your Mogul or other Windows-Based device (which means a different ESN), you're going to have to pay another $34, but I think that since you have your old keycode, that PDANet will give you a $5 discount ($29) as a 'returning customer'

Re: Free Tethering? I think so.

I was able to take a sprint mogul and hook it up to qpst, when looking at the nais on there there are 2 one for normal one for tethered,, I just copied the normal nai user info and pasted it to the tethered one exited rebooted and voila tetherabillity...

maybe just a fluke? not sure but it sure does make since

Re: Free Tethering? I think so.

Once im in the connection settings. Do I go to sprint and manage an existing connection or my Work Network to add a new modem connection for the phone as modem settings? When im creating the new connection it lists Bluetooth, Cellular line, Gneric IrDA, and Hayes Compatible on COM1. Do I need to worry about any of this or just change the registries and follow the instructions on the first page with opening ie and launching internet sharing afterwards as phone as modem?

Thanks for all your help.
