Just so I am sure after you have all of this setup you just leave it on "Phone as a Modem" for the default under the setting, connections right (you don't change it back to Sprint PCS after you are done tethering)??? Using the web on the phone will work just as it did before correct??
Thanks, |

There is no need to set it for PAM, just leave set to PCS.
It's so easy I don't understand why anyone has a problem, just make sure activesync is installed as it also installs the modem drivers. 1. Change registry entry for rilphone.dll 2. Plug usb in computer only 3. Open Internet sharing, leave settings usb and PCS then hit connect 4. Plug usb into 6800, wait a few seconds for it to set up connection on computer, you can now close IE now as well. That's it, remember when your done hit disconnect on your 6800 FIRST no matter what. Well I just got around to trying this
1) Performed reg edit multi-nai from 1 to 0 2) follwed the posted steps by Primenall -If I leave network connection as Sprint PCS everything connects fine -If I switch it to Phone as Modem I immediately get error code 67 -when attempting to connect via bluetooth I get a message on my notebook that my device has rejected the request I'm confused |
