Re: Active Sync Exchange for GMAIL
I have no word on why this is as of yet, however this does help small companies who have people in the field who need to keep an up to date calendar. Good for the small IT dept to have on hand I guess.

Re: Active Sync Exchange for GMAIL
Hi -
When I click the ActiveSync link "set up your device to sync with it" I get a page that asks for an e-mail address and below it there is a check box that says "Attempt to detect Exchange Server Settings automatically" It is the same if I go to the menu and "Add a Server Source". I can't seem to get to a page that simple lets me enter the server "m.google.com" I just upgraded my Verizon 6900 to Win Mo 6.1 Any suggestions / pointer greatly appreciated. |

Re: Active Sync Exchange for GMAIL
i've liked the ActiveSync with google, but having it on seems to kill my (already poor) battery life.

Re: Active Sync Exchange for GMAIL
To keep your battery from dying that much sooner, go into active sync's settings and reset the sync times. You can have it set to push sync during your "peak times" only and change it to something that works for you.
Sorry no step by step, but my phone is out of commission for the moment due to and incident with a toddler and a rocking chair. |
