the talking volume on sprint mogul 6800

i have been searching for the past month and found out that some people said that the volume on the phone have increase but some say that its still the same..
since the 6800 been out for bit now i sure that you guys with the 6800 can tell the difference from the old 6700. so have the volume increased is it a lot better then the old 6700 ???

bc on the 6700 it was hard to hear the other people talking to me even when my my 6700 was on max..even with the bt it was still hard to hear them..

please let me know i already order the 6800 and should be here in about 5 to 7 days.i just want to know bc if its still the same i may as well go back to the flip phones..

The volume is about the same as 6700 to me. But, I'm a bit surprised that you have problem with 6700's volume. My 6700 is quite loud, and when my wife talks over the 6700, I can always overhear what they are talking.

my voulume was horrible on the 6700, and my 6800 is no better. i have the volume on the phone and on the supplied earbuds up all the way. and i still have problems hearing people. my mom and my girl talk softly and that makes it even worse. i have to ask them to repeat every other sentence

Same here. The talking and ear piece volume seems low to me. I seen a tweak somewhere for it a while ago but cant find it now.

The 6800 sounds great to me. It seems like it's better than the 6700, but it's been awhile since I've talked on a 6700.

Wow, sucks that you guys are having problems with the earpiece volume. I find that if i have the volume set to be half way though i'm fine talking on it. Hell i often find that i'm turning it down slightly with some people when i talk to them. I think though that it's a slight issue with some people hearing them because of how soft they talk, i think thats more of a universal complaint people have when talking to soft spoken people.

I find the volume to be low also, I can't really hear most people im talking to.. I have to use my ear piece for the volume to be decent. Is there any programs similar to volume care on the treos, that can bump up the sound??
