I've been using SPB Shell and it's a no-brainer. The level of feaures, interface, UI and everything else built into it have drastically improved my overall experience with the Mogul. I really wouldn't want to run it without it anymore.

I use the Touch Home plugin and it's great. I love that it's real easy to use and looks dead sexy.

My vote goes for the Touch Home

Well I use both, I have the HTC Touch Today plugin in a Spb Mobile Shell Tab.

Mobile Shell has more options, including Spb Menu and the Now screen. You can also customize a lot more things (tabs, menu, etc.)

They both provide the same info on the surface, but Shell has more possibilities for the future since you can enable most Today plugins on a Shell tab.

It all depends on what uou are looking for; easy and simple or more customization.

How'd you do that? I only see the HTCHomePlug in the tabs list. Which is different from the Touch Today plugin.....

I use both as well.. The HTC touch screen is actually on my desktop, but I leave Mobile Shell off of it... it is only activated by the soft buttons at the bottom. So I can use the Now screen and the Task Manager/SPB Menu part.... works perfectly.

Both the HTC Touch Today plugin and Spb Shell are locked to the top of the screen. If you go to Settings - Today you'll see you cannot move them around within other plugins. This 'lock' also prevents the HTC Touch Today plugin from being placed on a Shell tab.

To unlock it, peform the registry edit on the following link...

http://www.ppcgeeks.com/reg-tweaks-0...743.html#55794

However, you need to do it for the HTC Today plugin, that post describes how to do it for Spb Shell because I wanted to place PhoneAlarm above Shell.

Hope this helps...
