i went in there for the TP, but when i saw the omnia i had to have it because it has a larger screen, which make using the touch screen easier for me at least. so i took that

I played with my friends wife's Omnia. Pretty nice phone. I was not liking the 240X400 resolution but now that Skyfire supports it I wouldn't mind as much. But then again, QVGA and VGA is ALWAYS better. Anyways, congrats on your new phone.

Re: Verizon 6800 EOL For SURE!

Yeah, I had an Omnia, sold it on ebay for 400. Best deal I ever did with VZW.........LOL

It was a pretty slick device. I just dome care for smartphones. Damn nice camera on that thing though.

Re: Verizon 6800 EOL For SURE!

Very true, WAH. The Omnia is more of a smartphone than a PPC...

Re: Verizon 6800 EOL For SURE!

Yeah, although there is hope for it as for flashing ROMs and such, there is much less 3rd party software for a Smartphone v/s a PPC. I did like the Omnia so dont get my wrong, it was very fast and smooth. The RAM and camera was great but I didnt get the Omnia to keep anyway. The TP2 looks to have no more major advantages than the TP so looks like I still wont be upgrading anytime soon.
