the problem you described in the other thread, has been happening to everyone, including me.

the only solution is to keep your screen "on" and turn your backlight all the way down, or charge it during the day, and leave it unplugged at night.

Alarms also not working when plugged in.. which is kinda an annoyence since the batt life is so bad that if Its not plugged in overnight it wont go off since it will be dead in the morning. lol

I need a reliable program to add that willl work even when plugged in.

I couldnt agree with you more. The battery would be dead long before you woke up annyway.

PhoneAlarm fixed the system alarms so they work properly, however, PhoneAlarm has not played nicely for me with Ringo or other ringtone managers.

I have been using a program called Pocket Wakeup for several years. The program was originally written in French, but someone took the time to hex edit the executables to make navigation of the application a bit easier. Its not a perfect translation, but the program works flawlessly.

I'm attaching both files in case someone wants to use them. Its better than missing a wakeup alarm. Also, it has some cool features like playing any MP3 file as an alarm and a customizable sleep timer.
