I'll be getting my Alltel 6800 in a few weeks that I need to get running on my small regional carrier... Looking forward to a turn-key solution for ESN changes. :D

This app is AMAZING! I just tested it with the ESN from my ppc 6700 and it was able to get the MSL for it as well. Any chance this could be ported to WM5 to share with the rest of the PPC community?
|
As requested I made a version that should be compatible(Haven't tested) on PPC-2003 and up. I uploaded the new version, and it has both the original WM 6 version and the PPC-2003 generic version included.

nice isos i didn't know u made this till after i downloaded. im going to try it now. yo isos it didn't work right man hit me on aim if you need a tester. |
Thanks isosdcftp... it runs fine on my 6700. Confirmed correct MSLs for three different 6800s and one 6700. However I tried several other different Sprint phone models (all Sanyos) and it did not give correct MSLs. So either I suspect maybe each manufacturer uses a different algorithm to generate its SPC/MSL codes.
Anyway, this app will come in handy for 6700 and 6800 users at the least (and perhaps on the new HTC Vogue (CDMA Touch) if Sprint gets it). Thanks for making it! |
isosdcftp - you kick ass!
Now I have the MSL for my 6700 again! |
I think that this app should probably be posted in its own thread in the software section possibly. Great work isodcftp! Keep it up. :thumbleft:

Thanks for the coding, a great example of what can be done.
