Yippee...finally after reading all day I have my MSL even tried sprint :( I could have it sooner if I would have thought that I was actually readting the right Hex Esn under the battery. Had a thought that maybe I was entering the wrong characters and lo and be hold I go to phone info and get the correct ESN input it into getspc on my 6700 and there you have it, save me $35. Thank you guys!

I've attached the tool I created.

These are the two Structures given as parameters:

Code:

struct Par1{
char * str1; // Always point to '1234'
char * str2; // 8 char string used as input
};
struct Par2{
    char * outstr; //out, Initialize to 0, Dont forget to free after calling GetSPC
    BYTE OutSize; //out, initialize to 0
    BYTE Unk; //Unkown, initialize to 0
};

I have a phone that I need the MSL for (want to change it from Sprint to VZ) but don't know how to get the app in this thread to work. Can I send someone my ESN for translation into the proper MSL???

You can get a simple MSL generator here.

This program GETSPC.exe is very simple to use.
Run the GetSPC.exe on your phone and in the Input field
Type in your ESN (Hex) in the input field (you wrote this down earlier)
Press <go>
The number produced in the output field is your MSLNumber (EPST unlock code)
Exit the application

Tried this on my home PC but no luck. :(

I'm trying to unlock my Sprint Startac to use on Verizon/PagePlus but Sprint won't (or says they can't) give me my MSL without an account.

I had Sprint from 1999 to May of 2009, so I no longer have an account with them. Any suggestions?

Again, I don't have a PPC, I'm trying to get my Startac MSL by using the program on my home PC. If there is a way to do this, please point me to the thread - I don't see the info anywhere here, in this one.
