MMS on Verizon

Hiya, i currently have an xv6800 on VZW with an unlimited data plan.

I have dcd's 3.2.6 and radio version 3.42.50

Everything is going great, its fast, gps active, except I am currently unable to send or receive picture messages. I cant find any options for this

I have the verizon carrier cab installed

Just curious if i am missing a certain cab file or if someone could enlighten me on this?

Sorry if this has been posed before (I searched and only found sprint related issues)

What are your VZW MMS server settings? They should be as follows and you should have Arcsoft installed. If you do not then here is a link to it.

I can't find any mms settings on my device. When i go to my messages i have the following options: text messages, my e-mail account, and set up a new e-mail. I do not have arcsoft installed. I will give it a shot when i get home. Thank you very much

ok, Start -> Messaging or Inbox -> MMS Options -> Servers

I have this same problem. I installed the arcsoft cab in this thread and changed my server settings as listed above. I am getting a text mssg when I send myself a pic mssg, which has never happened before. but no picture!

I have ArcSoft installed as well and when I goto the servers tab all options are greyed out.

you need to install the mms cab by gc14 over at xda im doing this while driving so i cant give you a link atm

For those of you that are having trouble finding gc VZW MMS cab, i have attached it.

After installing, soft reset and follow the above instructions provided by weedahoe.

Is there a reg edit that you have to make? When I send a pic mssg it arrives with an unknown phone number as the sender.

Hmm.. i just sent my friend a pic message and my phone number came up on his phone.

Only thing i could think of is maybe if your device info isn't filled out (Don't know if this would matter or not)
