Does the phone end of the charger cable wiggle?

The mini-USB end of my charger cable wiggles where it plugs into the phone--is this normal?

Mine does the same. I think its because the port on the bottom is squared off on one side instead of being angled like on the 6700

Same. Prolly has to do that one end is squared off like Dmunkey said. I can possibly see a slight problem with it, but thats a slight chance though, nothing to worry about.

I can tell you that there is a slight degree in wiggle between two models. I have two units available to me, my personal unit and my brothers unit (he doesn't go for reg tweaks and highly experimental software)... but I did check his connection. From what I determined the cable from my unit, which is loose in mine is also loose in his. However the cable that came with his appears to be a more solid connection with his device (my phone was in the other room and I didn't think to test it.) I'll try and remember to test that. However the cable I have here at the office attached to my PC for charging does appear to have less "wiggle" to it, but without a side by side comparison it'd be hard to tell if it truly is less.

Has anyone tried other mini-USB cables to see if the wiggle lessens?

Same here. But why the hell they came out with a funky shape for a Mini-USP connection is beyond me. That's like using a triangle port for a ROUND 3.5mm jack..

heh... go figure

Same here, but why , if you check the Mini USB stereo headset that came with the Mogul it has the odd shaped Mini USB end.
