a simple question

i get a secondhand Titan whoes rom version is 3.39.
can i flash it to 3.35?
somebody say that it is no good to flash to a lower version.
it is that true?

Its not good to go from a 3 version to a 2 version as the 3 versions are gps and the 2 versions are non gps. The way the data is stored on the rom is changed in the 3 versions and is not really compatible if you go back to a 2 version rom. You should be fine as long as you stay in the 3's . same goes for the radio you have to have a 3 version radio with a 3 version rom or you could brick your phone or get the dreaded no radio and it frezzez on booting into windows.

In your case you are not going back that far the numbers are relatively close. The people cooking there own roms and flashing from one to the other change back and foward all the time so I would say that you are safe. You might get a warning if flashing on your pc vs using the storage card. Sounds like you are trying to go backwards to another stock rom you should be fine.

Why not put something like nueROM3 on it? It's blazing fast for me! Also you get to customize your ROM a lot. Just look for GaMedic's thread in the Upgrade section.
