Make sure you're following those directions exactly and it should work. I was able to accomplish it first try and didn't have any problem.
That's the problem, when i go to mobile device > my windows mobile based device i don't see a windows folder. no folder like that comes up when ever the phone is synced. should i just creat one?

anyone know how i can make this sounds a little bit lower?? the transform sound is very loud when opening and closing and i would like it to be a little bit lower, however if i change the volume for events it affects all other sounds on my phone, i am just looking to change the sliding volume. any suggestions???

you would have to edit the wav files to quiet them down nero includes a nice app to do this, roxio does too, otherwise im sure there is freeware sound editors

How about from the device can you see the folder? I don't believe I had done anything fancy to show those folders. I can even see it when in Guest mode here at the office...

I'm good now. I figured it out i just dropped them into my windows mobile device and then copy and pasted the sound into my windows folder using file explorer.

That transformer sound is hot right now!!!

I find cool edit pro or adobe audition to be great apps to edit sounds. I like to use the filters that come with apps

here are scarface sounds i used. they get annoying real fast but its cool to show to people.
out sound is - "say hello to my little freind"
in sound - " say goodnight to the bad guy".
