free upgrade to htc diamond or pro

i talked with asureon today and they said there are no longer selling/replacing moguls. but they will upgrade u for free to a diamond or pro (if if pro is in stock). but tell them that the phone u have shuts off randomly (mine bricked tho for real) and they will tell u they will replace it with a diamond.

Yep. Asurion was sticking to only Treo 800w and Touch Diamond because demand for TP from paying customers was so high. They are now _finally_ offering TP in place of Mogul. They always should have been and if they don't, be sure to remind them that the SD card slot and full slide out keyboard are crucial core features of the Mogul that you still need.

In addition, Sprint appears to be replacing Moguls with new and used TP both at stores and over the phone via TEP replacements. It appears that the EOL discontinuation has finally caused Mogul stocks to dry up.

I don't suggest everyone calling in to tell them this. If you return your mogul to them and they find nothing wrong with it, you WILL be charged for the replacement. And for what it's worth, I concur on closing this down since the topic has been discussed to no end.
