ok, i have downloaded and installed the unlocker on my phone so that i can flash it to alltel service, i downloaded the alltel rom and my phone gives me an error msg saying to open an application that can run the program before opening the program.... can someone please help me out here, all i really want to do is get my phone to pick up on alltel towers so i can use it, we dont have sprint which is the type of phone it is, or crickett which is what it is currently flashed to... all help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that means you dont have the right zip-type program to open it up...

as im sure you all can tell, im way new to all of this... so i guess im back to square one, i tried to download pocket rar, and my phone tells me it is not a valid pocket pc application, i would really love some help, or maybe even some great instuctions on how to flash my phone... i am trying to flash to alltel service...so once again, please let me know how!

Pocket RAR is for the handheld and unless it has a PC installer to your mobile, I can't guess why it's an invalid app (bad download?). If the downloaded rom needs to be unpacked, you do that on your pc before you copy it onto your SD card instead of trying to do it all on the phone.
